29 Jan Timmy the Teeth at Velour
We’ve seen Timmy the Teeth on his own a handful of times now (he plays the drums for Joshua James) at Velour and Urban Lounge. On Wednesday night he opened for Quiet House and Damien Jurado for their 10th anniversary celebration.
This would be the third time we’ve seen him in a handful of weeks. We’re on the verge of becoming superfans.
Whether onstage or selling homemade trucker hats at the merch table, Timmy has a vibe that is best summed up as endearing. Just look at the video for “Country State of Mind.” Look at it!
Wednesday night, Isaac Russell sat in on bass and vocal and lifted a cover of John Prine’s “Sweet Revenge” to another level. Super good set.
