From a very young age I was obsessed with photographs. Hours and hours were spent flipping through family photo albums at home and at my grandmother’s house. That obsession continued through high school, where I took the same photography class three times, three years in a row. At 18, I was an intern at two portrait studios in Columbus, Ohio and started taking portraits for friends and family regularly. This is when I really decided that I needed to pursue photography as a career.
I studied photography at Brigham Young University and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
Photographing people is my passion. I love capturing real moments and expressions.
Music, movies, art, breakfast cereal and roller coasters are the other loves of my life. If I could live at an amusement park all summer, I definitely would.
My two boys keep me laughing and loving life. They are hilarious and I like to think they get some of it from me, although I’m not sure that can be verified scientifically. I am also the proud owner of a ridiculously handsome rottweiler mix named Frankie.
