22 Apr The Infamous Stringdusters at Park City Live
I saw The Infamous Stringdusters play at Park City Live in February. Mandolin Orange (who I absolutely adore) opened up for them, and we decided to stick around for the rest of the show.
This band was about the most technical group I’ve seen (except for maybe Pat Metheney Group, who plays what we like to call “math music.”) They were an impressive group of instrumentalists. However, I found the (overly talkative) crowd to be a bit on the obnoxious side. Lots of gals with hula hoops. Yes, hula hoops.
It was a ton of fun to have a press pass for this show, as I was able to wander around wherever I pleased to get my shots.
