Kaia’s Birth Story

I get to photograph newborn babies often at my job with Bella Baby Photography and I love it. LOVE. IT. What’s more precious than a brand new baby? Nothing, that’s what.

I was beyond excited when Garrett and Jess asked me to photograph the birth of their first baby, Kaia. There is something so incredible about being present during this special, emotional time for families and being able to capture these moments for them.

I tried not to, but was totally sobbing (hidden behind my camera, of course) as Kaia was born and her parents cried tears of pure joy.

I love all the different types of photography that I do. I love working with people. But this may top all rest. Nothing else feels quite this special.
